PMPML Expands Its Reach: Two New Bus Routes Launched in Pune

In a bid to enhance the city’s public transportation network, the Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Ltd (PMPML) has introduced two new bus routes, effective immediately. These routes are expected to provide convenient commuting options for residents across different parts of Pune.

Route 156: Connecting Hadapsar Bus Depot to Hadapsar Railway Station

The first route, designated as Route 156, establishes a crucial link between Hadapsar Bus Depot and Hadapsar Railway Station. Along this route, commuters can access several key stops, including Magarpatta, Mundhwa Gaon, Mundhwa Chowk, and Lonkar Colony. This new route promises to streamline travel within these areas, offering a more accessible and efficient public transportation option.

Route 198: Connecting Mundhwa Chowk to Kesnand Phata (Wagholi)

The second route, known as Route 198, is set to benefit residents traveling between Mundhwa Chowk and Kesnand Phata (Wagholi). This route will pass through significant localities, including Malwadi Manjari, Avhal Wadi, Satav Park, and Wagholi Bazar. With Route 198 in operation, commuters in these areas can expect improved connectivity and more convenient journeys.

PMPML’s Call to Residents

PMPML has encouraged all Pune residents to make use of these new bus services to fulfill their commuting requirements. These additional routes aim to ease the burden of daily travel and offer a sustainable and eco-friendly mode of transportation within the city.

As Pune continues to grow and evolve, investments in public transportation, such as these new bus routes, play a crucial role in enhancing urban mobility and reducing congestion on the city’s roads.
