The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has launched a proactive campaign to improve the city’s infrastructure and aesthetics on key roadways, known as “Mission 15 Road.” This initiative designates 15 major roads as VIP roads, ensuring they receive regular maintenance and beautification.
In a well-coordinated operation, the PMC cleared unauthorized structures along one of these significant thoroughfares this morning. Prominent establishments such as Reddy’s Family Resto and Bar and Al Nayaab, along with other constructions near the bus stand, were among the properties removed during this enforcement action.
Additional Municipal Commissioner Vikas Dhakne expressed his enthusiasm for “Mission 15 Road,” stating, “The selection of roads in Mission 15 Road is ideal. The illegal constructions on Nagar Road were demolished today, and the entire team did an incredible job. The mission’s primary objective is to make the roads free from encroachments, ultimately benefiting the city’s residents and visitors.”
