PMC Adopts Revised Fee Structure for Advertisement Boards in Pune

Pune Municipal Corporation

In a bid to streamline and regulate the advertising landscape, the Sky Sign and License Department of the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has announced a revision in fees for advertisement boards, commonly known as hoardings. The decision takes into account the Billboard Laws and Regulation, making distinctions between the old municipal limits and the expanded limits established after 2017, which now include 34 additional villages.

Revised Fee Structure:

For the old municipal limits:

  • Rs 580 per sq ft for the first year
  • Rs 640 per sq ft for the second year
  • Rs 700 per sq ft for the third year

For the newly included areas post-2017 (34 villages):

  • Rs 290 per sq ft for the first year
  • Rs 320 per sq ft for the second year
  • Rs 350 per sq ft for the third year

Madhav Jagtap, Deputy Commissioner of the Sky Sign and License Department, highlighted the department’s approval of online services for new permits and the renewal of billboard licenses. This digital initiative aims to simplify the application process, offering convenience and efficiency in managing advertisement boards within the PMC jurisdiction.
