PM Modi Sets Remarkable Record: No Leave Taken in the Last 9 Years, Reveals RTI Reply

Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s incredible work ethic and dedication to his role have been brought to the fore through a recent Right to Information (RTI) response. Pune-based activist Prafful Sarda, in his RTI application, sought information regarding PM Modi’s leave records, and the government’s reply has revealed that the Prime Minister has not taken a single day off during his nine-year tenure.

According to the response, “The prime minister is on duty all the time. No leave has been availed by the prime minister Shri Narendra Modi since taking over office,” highlighting the unwavering commitment of PM Modi to his responsibilities.

Sarda, speaking about this revelation, noted that PM Modi’s exemplary track record contrasts with the periodic leaves taken by some political leaders, like Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, especially after significant elections. He emphasized that PM Modi’s preference is to invest his time and effort in advancing the nation’s interests.

During his tenure, PM Modi has actively participated in more than 3000 events and functions, both in India and abroad. This tireless commitment has played a pivotal role in strengthening India’s international relations, facilitating trade agreements, and fostering goodwill.

Sarda’s observations underscore that this revelation dispels any claims that the Prime Minister is more interested in squandering the country’s financial resources. Instead, PM Modi’s unwavering dedication aligns perfectly with the “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas” philosophy.

Sarda also lauded PM Modi’s relentless efforts in securing India’s role as the host of the G20 Summit, a significant opportunity to attract foreign investments and stimulate job growth in the country. This stands in stark contrast to some leaders’ post-election trips, which may be seen as less focused on the nation’s benefit.

Sarda emphasized that while critics may argue that the government’s involvement in events is wasteful, it is crucial to recognize that such gatherings often serve as important forums for diplomacy, economic cooperation, and the formation of global partnerships. PM Modi’s dedication and round-the-clock commitment are a testament to his leadership and vision for a stronger, more prosperous India.
