Pune, December 1, 2023 – The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has reported that a total of 96,257 property tax holders have successfully submitted their PT 3 applications to the civic body by the extended deadline of November 30. The original deadline, set for November 15, was prolonged specifically for properties falling within the PMC jurisdiction.
In addition to this extension, the PMC has also made provisions for properties situated in the 34 merged villages, allowing them to submit their PT 3 applications until January 31, 2024.
According to an official statement from the PMC, property owners who failed to submit the required forms by November 30 will now be subject to considerations for discounts in the upcoming financial year, beginning April 1, 2024. This will follow a thorough inspection process conducted by the department.
The PT 3 applications play a crucial role in determining property tax assessments, and the PMC’s extension of deadlines aims to accommodate property owners and ensure a comprehensive and accurate assessment process.
