Nandanik Sanstha’s 20th Annual Durga Puja: A Grand Celebration at Rohi Villa, Koregaon Park

Nandanik Sanstha is gearing up for its remarkable 20th annual Durga Puja, set to take place from October 20th to October 24th at the beautiful Rohi Villa in Koregaon Park. This five-day extravaganza will commence with the Mahashashti Puja and conclude with the vibrant Sindoor Khela and Visarjan ceremony on Dussehra. Daily rituals, including Pushpanjali and Sandhya Aarti, are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m., respectively.

Gautam Banerjee, the President of Nandanik Sanstha, emphasized the significance of reaching this milestone, stating, “Two decades of Durga Puja celebrations have not only been religious events but also platforms for community service and the promotion of local businesses.”

He expressed heartfelt appreciation for the continued support from community members and local authorities in Koregaon Park and extended gratitude to Rohi Villa for graciously hosting this annual festivity.

Alongside the religious ceremonies, the Sanstha has curated an exciting lineup of cultural programs. Notable performers include renowned Bengali singer Durnibar Saha, Kathak dancer Prajakta Raj (Atre), and talented Mumbai-based artists Priyanka Mitra and Sriijiit.

Nandanik Sanstha maintains a steadfast commitment to environmental responsibility, evident in their ban on plastic within the event premises and the use of eco-friendly materials for decorations.

A special segment dedicated to literature enthusiasts will feature the Kolkata Boi Mela Team, organized by Bengali Book Promotional Services in India (BBPSI). Here, visitors can explore a wide array of Bengali books, music, and films.

For those seeking culinary delights and shopping experiences, the event offers a plethora of options. Pratap Caterers will tantalize taste buds with traditional Bengali dishes, while Rolls Mania presents popular rolls. Additionally, other eateries such as Barbecue Nation and Pizza Hut will be available. Visitors can also indulge in exclusive Bengali sarees, costume jewelry, and Diwali items available for purchase.
