Pune, March 10, 2024 – In an unexpected turn of events, the Maharashtra Natural Gas Ltd (MNGL) supply on NIBM Road in Kondhwa has faced disruption for the last two hours, causing inconvenience to residents in the area. The service interruption, reportedly caused by an issue in the Kausarbaug area, has left households in various societies grappling with incomplete meals and uncertainty.
A resident of Bramha Majestic, Nirav Shah, expressed frustration, stating that their food preparation has been hindered due to the disrupted gas supply. Initially told that the service would be restored within half an hour, residents are now being informed that it may not resume until 5 PM. Such disruptions have become a regular occurrence, adding to the residents’ woes.
D. K. Singh, a resident of Sunshree Kangan, echoed the sentiment, noting that the gas supply has been absent since 12 noon. Frustratingly, residents are receiving no clear answers or explanations for the prolonged disruption.
Pune Pulse attempted to contact the local MNGL representative to gather insights into the situation, but unfortunately, the calls went unanswered.
Residents are left in the dark about the cause of the disruption and the expected time for service restoration, raising concerns about the reliability of gas supply in the area.
