Karvenagar, 4th February 2024: Residents of Chintamani Residency and Arwana Towers in the Karvenagar Ward can expect the availability of Mahanagar Gas Limited (MNGL) in the next two months.
In a commendable display of community initiative, residents of Chintamani Residency and Arwana Towers in Karvenagar Ward have successfully paved the way for the installation of an MNGL gas pipeline in their locality. The proactive citizens, driven by the vision of a more sustainable and convenient lifestyle, approached Swapneel Dudhane, the NCP Kothrud assembly president, to champion the cause.
Dudhane, recognizing the significance of the initiative, collaborated with the citizens, initiating coordinated efforts between MNGL gas distributors and the road department of the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) to expedite the development of the gas pipeline.
A joint site visit, involving officials from the road department, MNGL gas distributors, and local citizens, was conducted to identify optimal locations for digging and secure necessary permissions for excavation from the municipality. Through consistent follow-up and constructive dialogues, a significant milestone was achieved with the successful Bhoomipujan ceremony conducted at the project site.
Thanks to the collective efforts and the completion of the Bhoomipujan ceremony, MNGL gas will be made available to all the flats in Chintamani Residency and Arwana Towers through the gas pipeline within the next two months.
This development marks a significant step towards enhancing the quality of life for the residents of Karvenagar, showcasing the positive outcomes that can be achieved through collaboration between citizens, local leadership, and corporate entities like MNGL.
