In a celebration of scientific curiosity and innovation, the 50th National Children’s Science Exhibition is set to take place at Shri Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex in Balewadi, Maharashtra, from December 26th to 31st, 2023. Amol Yedge, Director of the State Educational Research and Training Council, emphasizes the importance of coordinated efforts from all departments to make this exhibition a success, anticipating a positive response from students, parents, and teachers.

The exhibition, organized in a circular manner, is a collaborative effort involving the State Government, Kendriya Vidyalaya Sanghatan, Navodaya Vidyalaya, Atomic Energy Kendriya Vidyalaya, Tibetan Vidyalaya, and CBSE-affiliated schools of the National Council of Educational Research and Training, New Delhi.

National Children’s Science Exhibition, facilitated by the National Council of Educational Research and Training, aims to cultivate a scientific approach and a love for science among students. The platform provides students aged 14-18 with an opportunity to showcase their creativity.

Participants in the exhibition are selected from those who have qualified at the national level from state-level science exhibitions. The event is expected to host around 400 students and 200 teachers, with approximately 10,000 students visiting daily. Amol Yedge encourages students to make the most of this enriching experience.

The meeting to review arrangements for the exhibition saw the participation of officials from the Directorate of Education, Municipal Corporation, and Police officials.
