In a significant development, the Deputy Registrar of Co-Operative Society, Pune-5, has issued a show-cause notice to Bajaj Allianz House Condominium located on Airport Road, Yerawada. The notice comes in response to a complaint filed by a resident, raising concerns about the organization’s failure to submit audit reports, mismanagement, misappropriation of funds, and a lack of adherence to legal procedures.
Show-Cause Notice Details:
According to the show-cause notice, a resident of Bajaj Allianz House Condominium filed a complaint on 11/1/2024 with the Deputy Registrar of Co-Operative Society, Pune-5. The complaint highlights the organization’s non-submission of audit reports to the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) for the past three years. Additionally, it alleges serious mismanagement, misappropriation of funds, and a failure to conduct necessary procedures such as elections and annual meetings.
The notice specifically targets Secretary Suhas Wadikar and Chairman Sanjay Sanket, requesting them to provide detailed explanations regarding the allegations.
In response to the complaint, a joint hearing involving the complainant, Anjali Patil, and the respondent Chairman/Secretary, Bajaj Allianz House Condominium, is scheduled for 23/1/2024 at 1:00 pm. Both parties are required to attend the hearing with all necessary documents. Failure to appear will be construed as an acknowledgment that there is nothing to be stated, and appropriate action will be taken.
A former member of Bajaj Allianz House Condominium, Yerawada, stated, “The 7th floor of Bajaj Allianz House Condominium is illegal. An executive lounge has been built on the 7th floor where liquor is served too. That area is not even Bajaj Allianz; it’s a common area. There are no legal approvals of the committee for it, no documents, etc. Also, in the last 3 years, there has been no Annual General Meeting (AGM), no quarterly meeting, no audit report is given & much more. Hence, the show-cause notice has been issued.”
