IIA Pune Chapter Clinches National Recognition: Best Centre and Membership Growth Awards

The Indian Institute of Architects (IIA) Pune Centre has received prestigious national accolades, securing both the ‘Best Centre Award’ and the ‘Best Membership Growth Award.’ The awards were bestowed upon the Pune Centre at a recent national convention held in Lucknow. Ar. Vikas Achalkar, Chairman of Pune Centre IIA, proudly accepted the honors from Ar. Vilas Awachat, the National President of IIA.

Expressing his delight, Ar. Vikas Achalkar highlighted that this marks the first occasion where Pune Centre has been recognized with such prestigious awards at the national level. The recognition is a testament to the dedicated efforts and accomplishments of the Pune Chapter within the IIA framework.

The awards ceremony was attended by several eminent figures, including Ar. Sandeep Bawdekar, Honorary Joint Secretary IIA, and National Executive Members Ar. Sandeep Saraswat, Ar. Tushar Sogani, Ar. B Sudhir, among other dignitaries.

The Indian Institute of Architects operates as a leading organization within the architectural community at the national level, with chapters spanning across 24 states and over 90 centres throughout the country. Presently, the IIA Pune Centre stands prominently with a membership exceeding 600 architects.
