GST Giants and Railway Warriors Secure Opening Victories at Commissioners Veterans Cricket Cup 2024

Pune, India – February 10, 2024: The Second edition of the Commissioners Veterans Cricket Cup 2024 kicked off with a thrilling start as GST Giants and Railway Warriors emerged victorious in their opening matches. Organized by the Maharashtra Veteran Cricket Association in collaboration with EDGE Eventz & Entertainment, the tournament unfolded at the PYC Hindu Gymkhana Cricket Ground.

In the tournament’s inaugural match, GST Giants displayed their cricket prowess by securing a convincing 6-wicket win over PMC Titans. Simultaneously, Railway Warriors demonstrated their dominance with a remarkable 9-wicket triumph over Income Tax Tigers.

The tournament’s inauguration witnessed the presence of notable personalities, including MLA Siddharth Shirole, Ex Captain of Maharashtra Team Mr. Surendra Bhave, Acting President of Maharashtra Veteran Cricket Association Mr. Ranjeet More, Secretary of Maharashtra Veteran Cricket Association Mr. Sudhir Kulkarni, Captain of MVCA Mr. Ranjit Khirid, and Director of EDGE Eventz & Entertainment Mr. Aniket Soman.
