Gathering for Ex-Servicemen in Pune Camp to Address Pension and Welfare Concerns

In a significant initiative, the Zilla Sainik Welfare Office, Pune, has announced an upcoming gathering for ex-servicemen, scheduled to take place on February 15th and 16th at Pune Camp. The meeting, organized under the auspices of the Principal Controller of Defense Accounts, will be held at the Milkha Singh Sports Complex, located in front of Command MT, Ghorpadi, Pune Camp, starting at 10 am on both days.

The primary focus of this gathering is to address and resolve various issues concerning ex-servicemen’s pensions, along with concerns related to the Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS) and the Canteen Stores Department (CSD).

Distinguished dignitaries, including the Minister of State in the Ministry of Defence, Ajay Bhatt, are scheduled to address the assembled ex-servicemen during the event. Lieutenant Colonel Hange (Retd), the Zilla Sainik Welfare Officer for Pune, has formally appealed to ex-servicemen, widows of ex-servicemen, veteran wives, mothers, and fathers to actively participate in this important gathering.

This gathering presents a valuable opportunity for ex-servicemen to voice their concerns and engage with key authorities to seek resolutions. The Minister of State’s presence adds significance to the event, signaling a commitment to addressing the welfare and pension-related challenges faced by the ex-servicemen community.
