Fraudulent Land Acquisition Scheme Exposed In Pune’s Wanwadi Area

Pune: In a startling revelation, a case of fraudulent land acquisition has come to light in the Wanwadi area of Pune, as a builder allegedly forged documents to unlawfully acquire a six-acre plot. The case was brought to the attention of the authorities when Amit Jayaprakash Goyal, a resident of Maya Building, Ganga Satellite, Wanwadi, filed a complaint at the Koregaon Park Police Station.

The accused, two employees of the Pune Charity Commissioner’s office, are facing charges under various sections of the Indian Penal Code, including 120(b), 465, 466, 467, 468, 469, 471, 474, 419, 427, and Section 204. The complaint alleges a conspiracy to fabricate a bogus document in an attempt to fraudulently claim ownership of the land purchased by Goyal’s company.

The complaint outlines that the fraudulent activity dates back to 1980, with instances reported in the Charity Commissioner’s office and the Pune city area. Goyal’s company had legitimately purchased the six acres of land, but the accused employees allegedly schemed to create fake documents, presenting them as authentic. These forged documents were then used in government processes with the intention of wrongfully seizing Goyal’s land.

The case has been registered under the supervision of Police Inspector Vetal from the Pune Financial Offences Branch. Furthermore, the complainant has also approached the Financial Offences Branch with evidence of the alleged fraudulent activities.
