Fire Brigade’s Timely Response Prevents Tragedy at Wagholi Furniture Shop

A fire incident occurred today at a furniture shop located on Bakori Road in Wagholi, Pune. Fortunately, thanks to the rapid response of the Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA) firefighting teams, the blaze was swiftly brought under control, and no injuries or casualties were reported.

Preventing a Potential Disaster

The efficient actions of the fire brigade personnel were instrumental in preventing a major catastrophe, as the fire broke out in close proximity to LPG cylinders. The shop contained various flammable materials, including carpets, green grass sofas, cushions, and more. Additionally, an adjacent hotel had three LPG cylinders on its premises. Recognizing the gravity of the situation, the firefighters promptly removed the cylinders from the shop to minimize the risk of the fire spreading.

Cause of the Fire Under Investigation

At present, the authorities have been unable to ascertain the cause of the fire. An ongoing investigation is underway to determine the origin of the incident.
