A journey on the Bharat Gaurav train from Chennai to Pune took an unexpected turn as 40 passengers reported symptoms of food poisoning during the trip. Railway authorities swiftly responded to the situation, ensuring that all affected individuals were promptly admitted to Sassoon Hospital in Pune.
Upon reaching Pune railway station at midnight, the train’s crew and doctors from Sassoon Hospital were immediately dispatched to provide necessary medical assistance. The health condition of the passengers, who experienced sudden deterioration during the Bharat Gaurav Yatra, has since stabilized after receiving initial treatment.
The Pune Railway Administration is actively investigating the incident to determine the cause of the food poisoning. The affected passengers, while not requiring hospitalization, received first aid and medical attention to address the immediate health concerns.
