Embracing Diversity & Shattering Stereotypes: Mrs. India Empress of the Nation 2023, Season 4″

Pune, 23rd June 2023: The 4th season of Mrs. India Empress of the Nation, organized by DIVA Pageants, took place on the 18th of June at the HYATT Pune, showcasing a remarkable display of confidence, charm, and charisma by 50 extraordinary women from diverse backgrounds.

This season aimed to promote inclusivity and celebrate the individuality of each woman. It shattered the stereotype that age limits one’s potential, as participants ranging from 21 to 70 years old gracefully walked the ramp across the Silver, Gold, and Elite categories. Furthermore, the introduction of the Plus-Size Award added an extra layer of inclusivity to this fashion-forward and women-empowering pageant.

The grand event was presented by NIBE Limited and co-powered by Meesha Diagnostics & Polyclinic. The esteemed Guests of Honour included Mr. Aseem Gupta, Principal Secretary – Urban Development, Mr. Vikram Kumar, Pune Municipal Commissioner, and Manjusha Nibe, Founder of NIBE Limited.

The Elite Jury was led by actor Neelam Kothari Soni, accompanied by actor and sports presenter Ridhima Pathak. The panel of judges included Sandeep Singh, General Manager of HYATT Pune, Swatee Kumar, Chartered Accountant, Ovette Ricalde, International Pageant Director, Dr. Leena Gupta and Cicilia Sanyal, winners of Mrs. India MIEN 2021, Farha Anwar, Mrs. Asia 2018, and Karl Mascarenhas, Director of DIVA Pageants.

The event was hosted by celebrity host and actor Aman Yatan Verma, who added his trademark verve and vigor to the proceedings.

Selecting the top three winners in each category proved to be a challenging task for the jury, as all participants showcased exceptional performances on stage.

The title winners were as follows:

Silver Category (21 to 38 years): Winner: Priyanka Gadia – Pune 1st Runner-Up: Abhilasha Chahalia – New Delhi 2nd Runner-Up: Dr. Neha Prabhu Salgaoncar – Goa

Gold Category (39 to 49 years): Winner: Apeksha Dabral – Bhopal 1st Runner-Up: Dr. Mrinalini Bhardwaj – Pune 2nd Runner-Up: Rakshhaa Karwa – Mumbai

Elite Category (50 years onwards): Winner: Sujatha Sharma – Bangalore 1st Runner-Up: Seema Sinha – Delhi 2nd Runner-Up: Kakoli Ghosh – Kolkata

Plus-Size Category: Winner: Dharini Panchal – Mumbai

The coronation of six international DIVA Queens was a highlight of the event. These women will represent India in various international pageants under the guidance of International Pageant Coach Anjana Mascarenhas from DIVA Pageants.

The show director and choreographer, Pooja Singh, mesmerized the audience with her well-choreographed sequences.

The flawless coordination of this grand event was ensured by Cicilia Sanyal, Mrunali Tayade, Anjani Kushwaha, Tanuja Bangera, and Spenta Patel.

Mrs. India Empress of the Nation, a registered pageant, is the brainchild of Karl and Anjana Mascarenhas, epitomizing the DIVA belief of daring to dream and dazzling the world.

The 4th season of Mrs. India Empress of the Nation was a resounding success, breaking stereotypes and empowering women to embrace their true selves. It showcased the diversity and talent of Indian women and set new benchmarks for beauty pageants in the country.
