Pune, Maharashtra – In a shocking incident in the Bhavani Peth area, a domestic dispute turned violent as a woman stabbed and injured her husband during a minor disagreement over Rs 500 while serving a meal. The incident has resulted in the registration of a case against the woman at Samarth Police Station, highlighting the escalating tensions within the household.
The 43-year-old husband, distressed by the incident, lodged a complaint with Samarth Police Station. The 34-year-old woman residing in Bhavani Peth is now officially facing charges in connection with the stabbing.
According to the police report, the conflict unfolded when the husband returned home from work around 5 pm on Sunday to have lunch. A simple request for Rs 500 from his wife sparked a disagreement when the amount was not provided. The situation escalated when, during the meal, the wife created a commotion using a plate and a copper utensil.
In response to the escalating tension, the husband slapped his wife. In a fit of anger, the wife retaliated by stabbing her husband, causing wounds to his biceps and back. Law enforcement swiftly responded to the incident, arriving at the scene promptly. The injured husband has been admitted to the hospital for necessary medical attention.
