Dehu Road Cantonment Board Clinches Defence Minister Award for Exemplary Urban Development

In a testament to its unwavering commitment to urban development, the Dehu Road Cantonment Board has been bestowed with the esteemed Defence Minister Award for the year 2022-23 by the Ministry of Defence. The award acknowledges the commendable initiatives undertaken by the Cantonment Board in fostering sustainable growth and improvement in various facets of urban development.

The Defence Minister Award specifically highlights key accomplishments achieved by the Dehu Road Cantonment Board during the triennium spanning from 2022 to 2025. Notable among these achievements is the pioneering use of drones for tax assessment, a transformative measure that enhances efficiency and accuracy in financial matters. Another milestone includes the establishment of a seven-bed intensive care unit at Bharat Ratna Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Hospital, showcasing a commitment to bolstering healthcare infrastructure.
