Pune, January 11, 2024: The Lexicon Schools in Pune are set to host the inaugural Junior Model United Nations (MUN), a groundbreaking initiative aimed at instilling leadership qualities in young students. Designed for students in Classes III to VI, the event builds on the success of the Lexicon Model United Nations for senior students, providing a platform for budding leaders to engage in discussions on critical global issues.
The Lexicon Junior MUN seeks to foster the development of critical thinking, problem-solving skills, global awareness, effective communication, and public speaking skills among students at an early age. The initiative is driven by the vision to shape students into confident and articulate individuals, empowering them to actively participate in global discussions and become leaders of tomorrow.

The event will involve diplomatic simulations where students, representing different countries, engage in discussions across three key components: the Stage Room, the Discussion Room, and the Action Room. Participants will deliver speeches, engage in group discussions, and collaborate to draft solution papers. The structured format aims to develop skills in public speaking, critical thinking, negotiation, and diplomacy.
Titles such as Best Delegate, Champion Collaborator, Excellent Researcher, Brilliant Ideator, Diligent Diplomat, and Superb Speaker will be awarded to participants, recognizing their outstanding achievements.
