Connecting the Dots: Pune Airport Plans Bus Service to Enhance Connectivity to Aeromall

In a bid to enhance connectivity for air travelers, Pune airport officials are in the early stages of planning a dedicated bus service from the airport to Aeromall. Santosh Dhoke, the Director of Pune Airport, shared insights into the initiative, stating, “The bus service from Pune airport to Aeromall is being planned, and once the details are finalized, an official announcement will be made.”

Currently in the planning stage, the bus service aims to provide a convenient and seamless transportation option for passengers moving between Pune airport and Aeromall. The endeavor aligns with the airport’s commitment to enhancing the overall travel experience for flyers.

To further optimize passenger flow, the airport is developing a comprehensive entry-exit plan for the new terminal building. Scheduled to open in late February or early March, the new terminal boasts two arrival gates for improved operational efficiency.

The path from the arrival area to Aeromall will also undergo widening to facilitate smoother passenger movement. Additionally, the airport plans to increase the number of carts, from the current number to ten, to transport travelers efficiently from the arrival area to Aeromall.

In a collaborative effort to improve overall connectivity, the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) is constructing a road connecting the terminal building to Viman Nagar. This strategic road development aligns with the broader objective of making Pune airport easily accessible and seamlessly connected to key areas.

As the plans take shape, Pune airport endeavors to provide not only a world-class terminal experience but also convenient and efficient transportation options for passengers moving to and from Aeromall.
