Congress-BJP Clash: Video Emerges of Pune MLA’s Alleged Offensive Behavior

A recent video posted on Twitter by Murlidhar Mohol, a Senior BJP Leader of Pune, has sparked controversy as it captures Congress MLA Ravindra Dhangekar using offensive language during an interaction with a PMC officer. Mohol, in his tweet, portrayed the incident as a glimpse into the true face of Congress’s Mohabbat ki Dukan, criticizing Dhangekar’s behavior after assuming the role of MLA.

In response to these allegations, Senior Congress Leader of Maharashtra, Mohan Joshi, dismissed them as typical BJP tactics aimed at diverting attention from the city’s core issues. Joshi characterized the incident as one where the BJP sought credit but failed. He defended Dhangekar, portraying him as a results-oriented political figure addressing the concerns of the common people. Dhangekar had reportedly reprimanded a PMC staff member for delays and a lax approach to duties.

Joshi emphasized the need to investigate whether the PMC officer in question was acting as an agent of the BJP in this case. He also pointed out the BJP’s selective memory regarding a recent incident involving MLA Sunil Kamble, who had allegedly slapped an on-duty policeman. Joshi questioned whether the BJP had formally expressed regret or taken any action in that case.

Dhangekar, accused in the video, was not available for comments on the allegations.
