PUNE: The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has taken action against illegal constructions in Kondhwa Budruk, Ambegaon Budruk and Hingne Khurd. The PMC has cleared an area of 12,000 sq feet of encroachments.
There were large-scale illegal constructions in Kondhwa Budruk, Hingne Khurd and Ambegaon Budruk which are in zone 2 of PMC. The civic body had issued notices to those who had built illegal houses.
Accordingly, suitable action was taken against them. In Kondhwa Budruk, action was taken against 6,350 sq foot, 50 sq foot at survey number 25 and 25 illegal constructions in Ambegaon Budruk and Ambegaon Gaothan and freed an area of 5,660 sq foot of encroachments. The PMC took action at both places and cleared an area of 12,000 sq foot of encroachments. Civic officials and workers used JCB, gas cutter and breaker while taking the action, said the civic administration.
