Central Railways Introduces Summer Special Trains Connecting Pune to Muzaffarpur

Central Railways has announced the operation of additional Summer special trains to accommodate the surge in passenger demand. These trains are set to provide convenient travel options for commuters between Pune and Muzaffarpur.

Key Details:

  1. Scheduled Departures: The Summer special train service includes Train No. 05290, departing from Pune at 6:30 am every Monday between May 6, 2024, and July 1, 2024. Similarly, Train No. 05289 will depart from Muzaffarpur at 21:15 pm every Saturday from May 4, 2024, to June 29, 2024.
  2. Route and Halts: The trains will traverse through key stations including Hadapsar, Daund Chord Line, Ahmednagar, Belapur, Kopargaon, Manmad, Bhusaval, Khandwa, Itarsi, Jabalpur, Katni, Satna, Prayagraj Chheoki, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Junction, Buxar, Ara, Danapur, Patliputra, and Hajipur.
  3. Composition: Each train will comprise 20 AC-3 Tier Economy coaches along with 2 Generator cars to ensure passengers’ comfort and convenience throughout the journey.
  4. Reservation: Booking for Train No. 05290 is currently available at all Computerized Reservation Centres and online via the www.irctc.co.in website.
  5. Purpose: The introduction of these Summer special trains aims to address the additional rush of passengers during the summer season, offering a viable travel option for those commuting between Pune and Muzaffarpur.
