Pune, 28th June 2023: Central Railway has unveiled its plans to operate 26 weekly superfast special trains connecting Pune and Virangana Rani Laxmibai Jhansi. The train schedule and other relevant details are provided below:
The 01921 Special train will depart from Pune every Thursday at 15.15 hrs starting from 06.07.2023 until 28.09.2023, reaching Virangana Rani Laxmibai Jhansi at 09.35 hrs the following day.
Conversely, the 01922 Special train will depart from Virangana Rani Laxmibai Jhansi every Wednesday at 12.50 hrs between 05.07.2023 and 27.09.2023, arriving in Pune at 11.35 hrs the next day.
The trains will make scheduled stops at Daund Chord Line, Ahmednagar, Kopargaon, Manmad, Bhusaval, Khandwa, Itarsi, Narmadapuram, Bhopal, Vidhisha, Bina, and Lalitpur.
The composition of the trains will include 01 AC 2-Tier, 05 AC 3-Tier, 05 Sleeper Class, 04 General Second Class, and 02 luggage cum guard’s brake vans.
Passengers can make reservations for the 01921 Special train starting from 30/06/2023. Bookings will be available at all computerized reservation centers and can also be made through the official website, www.irctc.co.in. Special charges will apply for these bookings.
This initiative by Central Railway aims to enhance connectivity between Pune and Jhansi, providing a convenient travel option for passengers. The weekly superfast special trains will cater to the increasing demand for travel between these two cities.
