Bongiya Sanskriti Sangho Gears Up for Grand Durga & Kali Puja Celebrations in Undri

The enchanting sounds of dhak, the aroma of incense, and the vibrant colors of sindoor are set to fill the air as ‘Bongiya Sanskriti Sangho’ takes center stage in Undri, Pune. This Undri-based organization is all set to host the ‘Shri Shri Durga & Kali Puja 2023’ from October 20 to October 24, marking a joyous celebration of the divine mother’s grace.

Cultural Unity and Tradition:

Gaurav Mitra, the Vice President & Founder of Bongiya Sanskriti Sangho, expressed the event’s core objectives. He shared, “The event aims to unite the Bengali community in Pune and foster the development of Bengali culture. Many Bengalis are living and working in Maharashtra, and they often miss their families, their hometowns, and the essence of their culture. Additionally, we aim to educate our children about our rich cultural heritage.”

Mitro expects a vibrant gathering of more than 1,500 people each day throughout this 4-day celebration.

    • Events include Maha Navami Pujo, Pushpanjali, Mahanabami Bhog.
  • Bijoya Dashami: October 24, Tuesday
    • Events include Dashami Pujo, Sindur Khela, Bisarjan, and Sandhya Aarti.
