BARTI Collaborates with Ness Wadia College: Agreement Signed for Free Competitive Exam Training in Pune

PUNE: Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Research and Training Institute (BARTI) has organised a training programme for scheduled caste students appearing for bank, railway, LIC and other exams. This programme will be held at Ness Wadia Commerce College for six months.

BARTI is Social Justice and Special Assistance Department’s autonomous institute. Through this organisation, training programme for scheduled caste candidates for bank, railway, LIC, other exams (IBPS), police and army recruitment exams will be held.

IBPS has published advertisements for probationary officer/management trainee, special officers.
An agreement has been signed between BARTI and Modern Education Society’s Ness Wadia Commerce College to increase the passing percentage of candidates from scheduled castes. As per the agreement, free training would be provided, said BARTI’s Director General Sunil Ware.

Interested candidates can apply till August 25 and the entrance exam has been organised at Ness Wadia College on September 10. The training programme will be held under the guidance of Principal Dr Vrushali Randhir, Dr Laxman Bhaisane, assistant professors and coordinators.

For training, 30 pc sets are reserved for women, four per cent for specially abled and five pc for backward tribes under scheduled caste.

Training programme schedule

₹6,000 would be given per month to each student
₹5,000 for purchasing educational equipment
Qualification: HSC
Students: 100
Training duration: Six months
