Residents of Balewadi now have their own dedicated source of information with the launch of ‘The Balewadi Tribune,’ a tabloid inaugurated on January 28, 2024, by Balewadi Welfare Federation. This biannual publication aims to keep residents informed about the Federation’s initiatives, essential local details, and challenges faced by the community.
Content Focus: Ameya Jagtap, representative of Balewadi Welfare Federation, shared that ‘The Balewadi Tribune’ will serve as a platform for sharing information about the Federation’s activities. It will also include useful and practical information for citizens, covering topics such as deemed conveyance, FIR procedures, essential contacts, and more. The tabloid has been distributed to every household in Balewadi, fostering a sense of community awareness and engagement.
Chief Guest and Inauguration: Renowned radio jockey (RJ) Sangram Khopde graced the inauguration event as the chief guest. The initiative aims to make citizens aware of the Federation’s various activities and encourage their active participation in community development.
Sangram Khopde, while appreciating the Federation’s work, emphasized the importance of citizens voicing their demands and actively contributing to making Pune a better city to live in.
