Aryan and Neeraj Secure Gritty Wins to Advance to Second Round at Om Dalvi Memorial Tennis Tournament

Pune, November 6, 2023: Aryan Ghadge and Neeraj Ringangaonkar displayed their tenacity on the court as they claimed hard-fought victories to progress into the second round of the Boys’ category at the 13th Edition of the Om Dalvi Memorial Dr. Nitu Mandke Trophy All India Ranking U-18 Super Series Tennis Tournament 2023. The tournament, organized by the Om Dalvi Memorial Trust under the patronage of AITA and MSLTA, is taking place at the Om Dalvi Memorial Tennis School, Maharashtra Police Tennis Gymkhana (MT), Parihar Chowk, Aundh, Pune.

In a thrilling first-round match, Aryan Ghadge managed to overcome the challenge posed by Swaraj Dhamdhere, eventually prevailing with a score of 7-5, 2-6, 7-5. Meanwhile, local talent Neeraj Ringangaonkar stopped the qualifier Archit Dhoot’s run, winning 7-6(2), 2-6, 6-0 to secure his spot in the tournament’s second round.

  • Jay Pawar (Mah) (3) dominated Eshan Khadeer (Kar) with a score of 6-0, 6-1.
  • (LL) Suhas Soma (Kar) secured a victory over Ashutosh Kawadekar (Mah) with a score of 6-0, 6-1.
  • Parth Somani (Mah) (8) won against Krish Merchant (Mah) with a score of 6-1, 6-1.
  • Fatehyab Singh (Mah) (5) defeated Raunak Lalwani (Mah) with a score of 6-0, 6-1.
  • Neel Joglekar (Mah) emerged victorious over (Q) Sarvesh Jhawar (Mah) with a score of 7-6(3), 6-2.
  • Anmol Nagpure (Mah) (4) showcased a dominant performance, winning 6-0, 6-0 against Nachiket Gore (Mah).
  • Sarth Bansode (Mah) (7) defeated Neev Kothari (Mah) with a score of 6-3, 2-6, 6-1.
  • (Q) Pranav SR (TN) secured a victory over Athreya Hayagreve (TN) with a score of 7-5, 6-1.
