Pimpri-Chinchwad – In commemoration of World Water Day on March 22, ACWADAM and Bhujal Abhiyan have joined hands to organize a significant painting competition, aiming to elevate awareness about groundwater in the local community. The event, scheduled for March, encourages participants from various age groups to express their artistic prowess while fostering a sense of responsibility towards the vital resource beneath our feet.
Categories and Themes:
The painting competition is divided into three categories, ensuring inclusivity:
a) Class 7th to 10th
b) All College Students
c) Open Group (No Age Restriction)
Participants are given the opportunity to choose from a selection of themes that shed light on crucial aspects of groundwater:
- Groundwater
- Groundwater Extraction
- Groundwater Pollution
- Groundwater and Hills/River/Forest
- Groundwater and Environment
- Groundwater and (Cultural) Heritage
Participation Process:
Entrants can create a drawing on A3 size paper based on their chosen theme and submit a photo or scan copy through the provided QR Code or the link: Participate Here

It’s noteworthy that there is no entry fee for participation, promoting widespread engagement and ensuring that everyone can contribute to this vital awareness-building initiative.
