436 entries for Late Vinayak Nimhan 57th Senior State Carrom Championship

Pune, August 2, 2023: The upcoming Late Vinayak Nimhan 57th Senior State Carrom Championship is all set to witness the participation of a total of 436 players from various districts. Organized by Sunny Sports Kingdom and Someshwar Foundation, the prestigious event will take place at Sunny’s World, Pashan Sus Road, from 4th to 7th August 2023.

Mr. Sunny Nimhan, Director of Sunny’s World, and Mr. Bharat Desalda, President of Carrom Association of Pune, jointly announced the championship details. The tournament will be held under the auspices of Maharashtra Carrom Association, Carrom Association of Pune, and Kreeda Jagruti. A total prize money of Rs. 1,50,000/- will be offered to the winners across different categories.

The championship will feature competitions in Mens Singles and Doubles, Womens Singles and Doubles, as well as Men’s and Women’s Team Events. Players from 15 districts have registered to participate in this prestigious event, making it a grand celebration of the sport.

The tournament has attracted some of the most prominent names in the carrom world. World Champion Sandeep Dive, Former World Champion Prashant More, and Yogesh Pardeshi are among the top players who have confirmed their entries. The participation of International Carrom player Sandeep Deorukhkar, Mohammad Gufran, Abhijit Tripankar, Anil Mundhe, National Champion Yogesh Dhongade, Kajal Kumari, Aisha Sajid Khan, Sangita Chandorkar, and many others adds further prestige to the championship.
