Pune: Punit Balan Group gifts 31 computers to New English School students; Punit Balan inaugurates ‘Digital Lab’

Pune: City-based renowned Punit Balan Group has gifted 31 computers to the New English School, Tilak Road. The objective behind this is to kindle students’ interest in computers and to connect them to the modern world during their school days only.

Young entrepreneur Punit Balan inaugurated the school’s Digital Lab. Almost every field in the world has been computerised. Becoming literate or earning a degree is not enough in today’s world. A person can only be called literate who is computer literate. In this backdrop, noted young entrepreneur Punit Balan gifted 31 computers to the New English School and the Digital Lab which has these modern machines was inaugurated by Punit Balan. School Head Mistress Sunita Rao thanked Punit Balan Group for the gift. Deccan Education Society’s Regulatory Body Chairman Pramod Rawat was present.

Speaking on the occasion, Punit Balan said, “My mother worked as a teacher. She inspired me to do social service. Hence, I feel happy to solve students’ issues. The lab will help the students to have advanced education. Teachers and guardians should encourage students to study and work in the field of their liking. If students are able to gain knowledge and to work in their favourite subjects, the future generations will be groomed in a positive manner.”

Punit Balan Group has always efficiently carried their social responsibility. It has helped many meritorious sportspersons financially. The Group has opened schools in militancy-hit areas of Jammu-Kashmir. It has extended financial help to Pune-based renowned Shivaji Maratha Society’s hostel. Its social initiatives are always praised.
