Technical Failure at Pawna Dam Leads to Low-Pressure Water Supply in PCMC on 23rd February

In an unfortunate turn of events, the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) has announced a low-pressure water supply for its citizens on the 23rd of February 2024. The cause of this disruption is attributed to a technical failure at Pawna Dam, resulting in a reduced release of water at Rawet bandhara.

The technical failure, which occurred on the evening of the 22nd of February 2024, is expected to affect the water supply throughout the entire day on the 23rd of February 2024. In response to this situation, the PCMC is advising residents to use water judiciously and minimize wastage until the technical issue is successfully resolved.

The PCMC has issued a plea for cooperation from the citizens, emphasizing the collective responsibility to conserve water during this challenging period. Given the growing population and the subsequent increase in the demand for water, the PCMC is actively implementing measures to address the heightened water requirements of its residents.
