In a proactive move to enhance the efficiency and reliability of the water supply system, the Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) has announced scheduled maintenance and repair works in the Water Supply Department. The upcoming maintenance will focus on critical repairs at the Water Abstraction and Purification Centre, a vital component of the water supply infrastructure.
Maintenance Schedule and Impact: To carry out the necessary maintenance activities, the Water Abstraction and Purification Centre at Ravet will be temporarily closed on Thursday, January 18, 2024, from 10:00 am to 06:00 pm. As a result, water supply to Pimpri Chinchwad City will be suspended in the evening of the same day. Residents are advised to anticipate a temporary disruption in water services during this period.
Irregular Water Supply on January 19: Furthermore, on Friday, January 19, 2024, the morning water supply is expected to be irregular, and residents may experience lower water pressure during this time.
