Residents Unite: Over 15,000 Pledge to Tackle Civic Issues in Pimpri Chinchwad

In an unprecedented move, more than 15,000 residents from societies in Pimpri Chinchwad came together for the inaugural Maha Snehsamelan meeting, signaling a collective effort to address civic challenges and infrastructure issues in the city.

Sanjeevan Sangale, President of the Chikhali-Moshi-Pimpri Chinchwad Housing Society Federation, expressed the primary goal of the meeting: to create a unified platform for society members, forming a collective voice that demands attention from the administrative machinery. The overwhelming response indicates a successful realization of their objective.

The initiative, led by the Chikhali-Moshi-Pimpri-Chinchwad society federation, brought together community members to discuss and resolve common issues. Chief guests at the event included MLA Mahesh Landge and Senior Police Inspector Rajendra Nikalje from Bhosari MIDC Police Station.

MLA Mahesh Landge emphasized the apolitical nature of the society federation while assuring support for any necessary assistance. He pledged to stand with the federation and residents, offering assistance against any harassment faced by society office bearers from builders, local officials, or any other quarters.

Sangale stressed the importance of uniting all society residents in Pimpri Chinchwad under a single umbrella to demonstrate their collective strength to the authorities. The federation’s mission is rooted in advocating for justice and addressing societal problems, emphasizing a commitment to social work over political affiliations.

Highlighting that the federation remains impartial to any political leader or party, Sangale clarified their support for individuals and local office bearers irrespective of political allegiances. The federation’s focus is on social welfare and community development rather than political maneuvering.
