In a significant move towards enhancing Pune’s metro connectivity, the Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation Limited (Maha Metro) has officially opened bids for the construction of a 4.5 km elevated viaduct between Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) and Nigdi on the North-South Corridor—Pune Metro Reach 1 Extension.
Key Details of the Metro Extension Project:
- Completion Period: The project is expected to be completed in 130 weeks from the date specified in the Letter of Award (LOA).
- Document Availability: Interested parties can download bid documents from 16th December 2023, 16:00 pm, to 22nd January 2024, 16:00 pm, from the Maha-Metro e-tender portal.
- Cost of Document: The cost of the bid document is INR 1,18,000 (One Lakh Eighteen Thousand only), inclusive of applicable GST. The amount is non-refundable and payable through e-payment methods like Credit Card, Debit Card, or Net Banking, following the procedure outlined in the tender document.
- Pre-Bid Meeting: A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for 9th January 2024, 11:00 am, at the office of ED/Procurement, Maha-Metro. Queries can be submitted via email or in hard copy before the stipulated date and time.
- Bid Security (EMD): Bid Security or Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) of INR 1.74 Crores (One Crore Sixty-Six Lakhs Only) is required, to be submitted in the form of an Irrevocable Bank Guarantee as specified in the tender document.
- Tender Submission: The deadline for online submission of tenders is 22nd January 2024, 16:00 pm, on the Maha-Metro e-tender portal.
- Tender Opening: The opening of tenders will take place on 22nd January 2024, after 16:30 pm, at the Procurement Department, Civil Court Metro Tender Station, Pune.
