PCMC’s Message: No Tolerance for Improper Waste Disposal by Medical Professionals

The Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) has shown zero tolerance for improper waste disposal by penalizing two medical professionals with a hefty fine of Rs 70,000. Their offense involved the improper disposal of biomedical solid waste along the stretch from River Residency to Koloshi Road. In a separate incident, a businessman has been fined Rs 10,000 for the detection of dengue larvae.

Under the proactive leadership of Assistant Commissioner Anna Bodde, along with Assistant Health Officer Tanaji Date, Health Inspector Vaibhav Gholve, and Amar Suryavanshi, a dedicated team successfully executed the operation in the Chikhali Moshi area on Thursday.

Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Commissioner Shekhar Singh, in response to these incidents, has called on all citizens to abstain from littering on the roads and stressed the importance of maintaining a clean and beautiful city.

Furthermore, Mangalam Clinic Chikhli and Shree Samarth Clinic Moshi have each been slapped with fines of Rs 35,000 for their involvement in these violations.
