Nirmala Kute Advocates Swift Progress on Pavana River Bridge to Ease Traffic Woes

In a proactive move to address the rising traffic concerns in the Pimpri-Pimple Saudagar region, former corporator Nirmala Kute conducted an inspection of the ongoing construction of a new bridge over the Pavana River on March 5. Accompanied by the relevant work officer, contractor, and consultant team, Kute emphasized the need for a speedy completion of the bridge to alleviate the persistent traffic congestion in the area.

Under the guidance of MLA Lakshman Jagtap, Nirmala Kute has been consistently following up with the administration to expedite the construction of the new bridge. The growing population and traffic in the region have strained the existing bridge, making the construction of a new bridge a necessity to permanently solve the issue of traffic congestion.

The new bridge project includes additional enhancements for the community, such as the beautification of Kranti Chowk, provision of footpaths, and parking facilities for pedestrians along the road in front of the Datta Mandir. To ensure safety, attractive barricades will be installed on the bridge, and murals will adorn the river wall on both sides.

During the inspection, Nirmala Kute issued instructions to the concerned officers and contractors, urging them to expedite the remaining work and ensure the speedy completion of the bridge, benefiting the residents of Pimpri and Pimple Saudagar.
