In a noteworthy diplomatic exchange, a delegation from Birendranagar Municipality in Nepal, led by President Mohan Maya Bhandari, recently visited the Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) in Maharashtra, India. During the tour of the PCMC’s main administrative building, Commissioner and Administrator Shekhar Singh warmly welcomed the Nepalese delegation. The visit provided valuable insights into the ongoing development works, and Bhandari shared her positive thoughts on the corporation’s approach.
The welcoming committee, consisting of Additional Municipal Commissioners Vijay Kumar Khorate, Ulhas Jagtap, Executive Engineer Bapusaheb Gaikwad, Public Relations Officer Prafulla Puranik, Ashiq Jain, and ITDP Deputy Manager Pranjal Kulkarni, played a crucial role in facilitating discussions and exchanges of information.

Commissioner Shekhar Singh took the opportunity to provide the delegation with a comprehensive overview of the municipality’s projects.
