Mahyuti Leaders Convene to Strategize for Maval Lok Sabha Candidate

Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar Begins Campaigning for Shrirang Barne, Emphasizes Unity Within Mahayuti Alliance

Senior leaders of the Mahayuti alliance gathered on Monday for a crucial meeting to chart out strategies following the official announcement of Shrirang Barne as the Mahayuti candidate for the Maval Lok Sabha constituency.

Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar wasted no time in initiating campaign efforts for Barne, a seasoned politician who previously served as a two-time Member of Parliament. Notably, Barne clinched victory in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, securing a decisive win over Ajit Pawar’s son, Parth Pawar, by a substantial margin of two lakh votes in the Maval parliamentary constituency.

Addressing the gathering, Ajit Pawar urged unity within the Mahayuti alliance, cautioning against interactions with the opposition candidate, Sanjog Waghere. Pawar emphasized the need for unwavering support towards the Mahayuti candidate, emphasizing the significance of working collectively under the bow and arrow symbol of Shiv Sena to secure victory in the upcoming elections.

Expressing gratitude for the support received, Shrirang Barne acknowledged Ajit Pawar’s early endorsement and commitment to bolstering his campaign in Maval. With the backing of the Deputy Chief Minister and the Mahayuti alliance, Barne aims to consolidate his position and emerge victorious in the electoral contest.

In the upcoming elections, Barne will face off against Sanjog Waghere of Shiv Sena (UBT), the official candidate of the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) alliance for the Maval constituency.

The meeting saw the presence of prominent leaders from various parties within the Mahayuti alliance, including BJP’s Chandrakant Patil, Shiv Sena’s Uday Samant (Eknath Shinde faction), as well as relief and rehabilitation minister Anil Patil, MLA Ashwini Jagtap, Sunil Shelke, Uma Khapare, and Chandrakanta Sonkamble of RPI from the Athavale group.
