Staying well-hydrated, refraining from consuming soft drinks, and steering clear of open fruits and outside foods are essential practices. Dr. Gofane also emphasized the significance of avoiding alcohol and smoking, and meticulously adhering to prescribed medications. Regular exercise was recommended as a key component of maintaining overall well-being.

There has been a noticeable rise in viral diseases among children, with symptoms including colds, chronic cough, fever, vomiting, diarrhea, and dry skin. Pediatricians are advising parents to incorporate nourishing foods like dal-rice, khichdi, bananas, and apples into their children’s diets, and to take specific precautions to safeguard them from dengue.
