Chikhali’s Water Woes Meet a Solution: New Pump Inaugurated by MLA Mahesh Landge

In a significant move aimed at improving water supply to approximately 90,000 residents in Chikhali and its neighboring areas, Bhosari MLA Mahesh Landge inaugurated a new water pump at the Chikhali water treatment plant in Patilnagar. This development is a promising step towards addressing the water needs of the local community.

Addressing Water Supply Challenges

Mahesh Landge, the MLA for Bhosari, took to social media to share the news of the water pump inauguration. He expressed his commitment to facilitating water supply to the citizens of Chikhali and the surrounding areas. The installation of a dedicated pump to supply water to the aqueduct at Patilnagar directly from the Chikhali water treatment center is a testament to his efforts in resolving water supply challenges.

Landge’s tweet read, “To facilitate water supply to about 90 thousand citizens of Chikhali and the surrounding area, a separate pump has been installed to supply water to the aqueduct at Patilnagar through a direct pipe from the Chikhali water treatment center.”

A Visit to Charholi Village

In addition to the water pump inauguration, Mahesh Landge, accompanied by Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) Commissioner Shekhar Singh and PCMC’s town planning officers, paid a visit to Charholi village. Their objective was to oversee road development initiatives, a vital component of improving infrastructure and connectivity in the region.

Landge shared insights into the road development projects, stating, “PCMC will develop 90-meter DP roads at Wadmukhwadi, Tajne Mala, Pathare Wasti, and Bhosale Wasti. This will enhance PCMC’s connectivity to Lohegaon Airport, Pune-Nagar Road, and Pune-Solapur Road. Out of the 9,563 meters of roads, 7,803 meters have already been developed.”
