Bridging the Gap: Moshi-Charholi 90-Meter Road Promises Enhanced Connectivity

The ambitious Moshi-Charholi 90-meter road project, set to become a crucial “artery” enhancing the connectivity of Pimpri-Chinchwad city to Pune and the surrounding industrial belt, is well underway. Of the 9,563-meter road, 7,803 meters have already been developed, marking significant progress. BJP MLA Mahesh Landge has advocated for the speedy completion of the remaining two kilometers within the next six months.

Mahesh Landge, the BJP MLA representing the Bhosari Constituency, emphasized that this road, connecting Pimpri-Chinchwad city to the Nagar and Solapur highways via Moshi-Charholi, will significantly improve transportation. The rapid development of the “Chikhali-Moshi-Charholi residential corridor” will greatly enhance connectivity for residents in the area, linking them to Pune, Pimpri-Chinchwad, Lohegaon airport, and the industrial belt. The road development within Pune Municipal Corporation limits is already in progress, and Landge expects the Pimpri-Chinchwad section to be completed within the next half-year.

As per reports, the Moshi to Charholi 90-meter road project is currently advancing, commencing from Jaiganesh Samrajya Chowk in Moshi under the jurisdiction of the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation and concluding at Pride City in Charholi. The first phase of the project has seen the development of 7,803 meters out of the total 9,563 meters. During his on-site inspection, MLA Mahesh Landge engaged in discussions with Shekhar Singh, the Municipal Commissioner, regarding land acquisition for the remaining two kilometers of road and addressed concerns from local farmers.

The rapid development of the Moshi-Charholi-Chikhali residential corridor underscores its importance in enhancing connectivity for Charholi, Pride City, and the surrounding areas. This road is poised to become a vital transportation route, linking Pimpri-Chinchwad to Pune-Solapur Highway and Pune-Nagar Highway. To ensure the project’s timely completion, PCMC Additional Commissioner Vijay Khorate will conduct regular review meetings, with Municipal Commissioner Shekhar Singh overseeing the progress on a monthly basis.
