Pune, India: Nibe Limited, a pioneering name in manufacturing critical systems for the defence sector, inaugurated its new plant in Pune today. Equipped with advanced technology and machinery, the state-of-the-art facility has a robust production capacity, dedicated to the production of comprehensive array of critical sub systems to meet the evolving needs of the defence industry. The facility features 16m, 12m Vertical Machining Centres (VMC). The plant extends support to indigenous Modular Bridges, Sarvatra bridge system, missile launcher system components fabrication, precision machining, and the manufacturing of Electric vehicles. Nibe Limited is poised to elevate its manufacturing capabilities to unprecedented heights.
Commenting on the inauguration, Mr. Balakrishnan Swamy, CTO of Nibe Limited said, “We are elated to unveil our new state-of-the-art manufacturing plant, which signifies our unwavering commitment to fostering innovation in the defence industry. The inauguration ceremony was graced by the esteemed presence of Chief Guest Shri Ajay Bhatt, Minister of State for Defence of India , Admiral Radhakrishnan Hari Kumar, Chief of the Naval Staff and Shri Uday Samant, Minister for Industries, Maharashtra.
Founded in 2021 under the visionary leadership of Mr. Ganesh Ramesh Nibe, Nibe Limited has emerged as a trailblazer in technology and sustainability. The revolutionary manufacturing facility equipped with cutting-edge resources, including the largest VMC machines, a dedicated welding training center covering diverse metallurgy, including Titanium, and expertise in automated welding. Nibe Limited has honed its skills, capabilities, and resources to proficiently manufacture a wide range of products, demonstrating a commitment to innovation and excellence. The contemporary facility will facilitate the manufacturing of the following:
- Heavy engineering structures for MRSAM ARMY and MRSAM AIR FORCE, such as Under Frame, Erecting Frame, Cassettes, Jet Deflectors and Cannisters
- Sub-assemblies of mobile weapon launchers for PINAKA Launchers
- 10m Short Span Bridges and 46 m Modular Bridging System for Army
- Structural and Engineering systems for Naval applications such as UVLM Sub-assemblies
- Precision Sub systems and receivers for small arms
- Hull and Turret for tracked vehicle like K9 Vajra
- Network Switches, Rugged Panel PC and Dual Display Consoles under License
- Design and development capability of 81 mm mortar enhanced range and seeker
- Improved ammunition for 120 mm mortar with enhanced range and seeker
