In a remarkable display of devotion and faith, the Ekvira Devi temple in Vehargaon-Karla, Pune, welcomed an astounding number of over five lakh pilgrims during the sacred Navratri festival. The entire event was characterized by fervent devotion, with the traditional Homhavan being performed with profound reverence.

The worship ceremony of Ekvira Devi was led by Revenue Officer Deepak Dhanawade and Deputy Sarpanch Kajal Padwal. Joining them, the temple trustees, including Navnath Deshmukh, Vikas Padwal, Priest Sanjay Govilkar, Gurav representative Santosh Deshmukh, Chandrakant Deokar, Moreshwar Padwal, Ganesh Deshmukh, and Prakash Porwal, offered their heartfelt prayers and worship.

For the past two days, the doors of the Ekvira Devi temple remained open round the clock, allowing devotees to visit and offer their respects. However, the sheer number of devotees present resulted in long queues for darshan, starting as early as Monday night. Even in the early morning hours, the temple premises were abuzz with devotees who had come to participate in the Navratri celebrations. Throughout the Navratri period, more than five lakh faithful devotees have gathered to seek blessings from the divine Goddess.
