Vistara’s Flight Plan Update

LONDON- Tata-owned Vistara (UK) has recently unveiled crucial schedule adjustments for its Mumbai (BOM) – London Heathrow (LHR) route during the Northern winter 2023/24 season, extending from October 29, 2023, to March 30, 2024. These changes include both reduced frequencies and increased flights, providing passengers with more options.

Flight Frequency Adjustments

From October 29, 2023, until January 25, 2024, Vistara will operate four flights per week on this route, maintaining the existing frequency.

Extended London Flights

Starting from January 26, 2024, until March 30, 2024, Vistara is set to boost its Mumbai to London flights from 5 to 7 per week. However, it’s important to note that there will be no operations on specific dates in February 2024, namely, 08, 10, 11, and 13.

Flight Schedule Details

Here is the flight schedule for Vistara’s Mumbai (BOM) – London Heathrow (LHR) route:

  • UK015 BOM (Mumbai) 14:40 – LHR (London Heathrow) 19:00 on a 789 aircraft (Daily)

Expanded Flight Operations

Notably, Tata-owned Vistara is currently in the process of significantly expanding its daily flight operations. Commencing this month, the airline has ramped up its daily flights to an impressive 300, representing a substantial growth in its service capacity.

Deepak Rajawat, Vistara’s Chief Commercial Officer, confirmed this development and expressed the significance of this expansion. Prior to this increase, Vistara was operating approximately 270 flights each day.

Consistent Demand

Rajawat cited consistent demand across the airline’s network during the July-September quarter, a period traditionally regarded as a weaker season for domestic travel. The sustained demand highlights Vistara’s notable performance in the face of challenging market conditions.

Additionally, Vistara has been consistently experiencing robust demand on its international routes, particularly its long-haul flights. Furthermore, its domestic routes connecting major cities and leisure destinations continue to attract a steady stream of travelers.

Vistara’s Impressive Fleet

At present, Vistara operates flights to 32 domestic and 15 international destinations. The airline manages this extensive network using a modern fleet comprising 46 Airbus A320neo, 10 Airbus A321, and five Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft.
