Mumbai: Woman makes hoax call about bomb at two locations

Mumbai, Sep 5 (UNI) Mumbai police control room received a call on Tuesday morning to inform them of bombs planted at two important locations in Mumbai, which include Nepean Sea Road, where the nearby industrialist Ambani family resides, and Kamathipura, a redlight area of Mumbai that is one of the most densely populated areas of the city.

Following the call, the entire police department experienced a sense of panic, prompting an investigation into the matter.

Heavy police personnel were deployed, roads were blocked, and vehicles were checked, but no evidence was found so far.

A police official said that a woman made a hoax call, saying that a bomb was deployed at Nepean Sea Road this morning. The same woman has called the police 38 times so far to inform them about similar deployments of bombs.

Another such call was received during the investigation, saying that a bomb had been deployed in Kamathipura.

Officials said that investigation is going on and we are on alert mode.
