Mumbai Police arrest man for making threat call to Mantralaya

Mumbai, Aug 8 (UNI) A man who had allegedly made a threat call for a terrorist attack on Mantralaya (state govt secretariat) was arrested by city police here on Tuesday.

According to the information, the accused, identified as Kishanchand Khemani, aged 61, made a call to the control room of the Mantralay on Monday night, threatening that a terrorist attack would take place within two days in Mantrlya. Soon after, the Mumbai police, along with crime officials, conducted the probe and tracked the phone number. Subsequently, the accused was arrested a few hours after the crime.

A police officer told that Khemani called Mantralaya and said that he has connections with terrorists and that he is going to be present at an event to be held in Mantralaya in the next two days. Further investigation is going underway.
