Maintenance Alert: Mumbai Passenger Reservation System (PRS) to be Temporarily Unavailable

Mumbai, January 13, 2024: The Mumbai Passenger Reservation System (PRS) is set to undergo essential maintenance, including Disk De-fragmentation, leading to a temporary shutdown. The maintenance is scheduled to take place from 11.45 pm on January 14, 2024, to 05.15 am on January 15, 2024. This will affect all zones across the Indian Railways network.

During this period, several services, including IVRS (Interactive Voice Response System), Current Reservation, Refund Counters, and Coaching Refund Terminals, will not be available. However, Ticket Deposit Receipts (TDRs) will be issued for refunds following the existing refund rules.

Furthermore, internet booking through IRCTC for Mumbai PRS trains will also be temporarily unavailable throughout the maintenance window.

The Railway Administration seeks the cooperation of passengers and rail users during this crucial maintenance phase. The temporary inconvenience is essential to ensure the optimal functioning and efficiency of the Mumbai Passenger Reservation System.
