Lok Sabha Election 2024: Mukesh Ambani and Family Cast Their Votes in Mumbai

Mumbai: On Monday, Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) Chairman and Managing Director Mukesh Ambani, along with the Founder and Chairperson of Reliance Foundation Nita Ambani, cast their votes for the Lok Sabha Election 2024. Joining them was Akash Ambani, Chairman of Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited, who also exercised his right to vote.

Ambani Family Votes at Malabar Hill

The Ambani family was spotted at the Malabar Hill polling booth in Mumbai. Mukesh Ambani emphasized the importance of voting, urging every citizen to participate in the democratic process. “Harek bhartiyon ko vote dena chahie, yah meri sab deshvasiyon se appeal hai…” he said, which translates to, “Every Indian should vote; I appeal to everyone to go and cast their vote.”

Nita Ambani echoed this sentiment, highlighting the significance of voting as both a right and a responsibility. “I think it’s so important as an Indian citizen to vote. I urge everybody in India to go out and exercise their right to vote,” she stated.

Voting in Mumbai and Maharashtra

As the Lok Sabha elections progress towards their final stages, polling is actively underway in 13 constituencies across Maharashtra, including six in Mumbai, as part of the fifth phase of the elections.

Over 2.46 crore eligible voters in constituencies such as Mumbai North, Mumbai North Central, Mumbai North West, Mumbai North East, Mumbai South Central, Mumbai South, Thane, Kalyan, Bhiwandi, Palghar, Nashik, Dindori, and Dhule will be deciding the fate of 264 candidates.
